Jekyll Island Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Celebrate the start of the Christmas Season at the annual Jekyll Island Christmas Tree Lighting Festival, November 28 in the Jekyll Island Historic District. Enjoy holiday stage performances, arts and crafts vendors, and games and activities for children. Santa will be on site for pictures, and families can enjoy hayrides, holiday shopping, delicious hot chocolate and savory Christmas treats. Activities begin at 4:30 PM and continue until the lighting of the Christmas tree and fireworks finale at 7:30 PM. Admission to the festival is free. Some activities do require a small fee.
