Jekyll Island Weddings

Thank you for your interest in Jekyll Island as a possible site for your wedding and reception. We have a unique island, which by law, is restricted to only 35% development. This means that 65% of the Island remains in its natural and beautiful state. We have 12 miles of beach, 4 golf courses, a 240-acre riverfront Historic District, beautiful landscaping and a very tranquil setting.

Riverfront, oceanside or a beautiful villa or chapel...Jekyll Island is the perfect location to host your dream wedding.

Faith Chapel

Faith Chapel is located next door to the Jekyll Island Club Hotel in the Historic District. Built by the members of the prestigious Jekyll Island Club in the 1900’s, it is available today for weddings and special family events. For $800, you can have your ceremony amid the soft shadows of beautiful stained glass windows created by Louis Comfort Tiffany and Maitland-Armstrong. The rental covers a 2-hour period, an hour rehearsal, and a private changing room. Faith Chapel seats 100 people.

Beaches

For outdoor events, consider the Beachdeck. Located between the Convention Center and the Days Inn, it is perched on the dunes of the beach. The Beachdeck, which is in reality 3 decks connected together, rents for $1000.00 for a 6-hour period and this includes rain back up inside the Convention Center. Some people use this location for both the wedding and reception. There are 2,600 square feet of deck with a large grassy area and miles of beach. The Convention Center has exclusivity for catering to the Deck.

Rooftop Garden Room

Morgan’s Clubhouse (Rooftop Garden Room) at the Golf Course is a private room on the second floor. The three glass walls of the room provide a panoramic view of the three, lush 18-hole golf courses surrounding it. It rents for $400.00. We offer buffet and reception service for 25-110 people.

Atlantic Hall

For weddings over 150 people, we suggest Atlantic Hall in the Convention Center. With a 180-degree view of the ocean and 15,000 square feet of flexible space, it will accommodate large numbers of people with space for dancing, food & beverage, and plenty of seating. Atlantic Hall rents for $1200.00 per day and accommodates 120 to 1,200 people. We have a wonderful in-house catering department who can provide you with a variety of food. We also manage the bar should you request one. We offer plated, buffet, and reception service.
